Serving Olean and the Surrounding Communities

Love Thy Neighbor is an outreach ministry of Believers Chapel dedicated to serving people in need throughout Olean and the surrounding communities. Our mission is to provide assistance, hope, and support through community outreach projects and crisis response efforts.

Community Outreach

The Love Thy Neighbor Community Outreach Ministry organizes two community service days each year, deploying teams to complete projects throughout the community. In addition, service projects are carried out year-round as needs and requests arise. Our goal is to demonstrate the love of Christ through acts of service that make a positive impact in the lives of individuals, families, and neighborhoods.

Crisis Response Team

The mission of the Love Thy Neighbor Response Team is to assist individuals and families affected by crisis situations and tragedies, while also providing support to our local first responders. Through compassionate assistance and practical resources, we are able to bring hope and relief during difficult times.

Love Thy Neighbor is made up of qualified and trained volunteers who are equipped and ready to serve alongside local public safety officials whenever the need arises.

Mobile Response Unit

Our Love Thy Neighbor team operates from a fully equipped and easily recognizable RV stocked with essential supplies, including food, water, and clothing. These resources are available to both victims and first responders during emergency scenes and times of crisis, meeting practical needs while extending the love, hope, and compassion of Jesus Christ through tangible acts of service.
